He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Thornton and Thelma Thornton (Hoffman); and his brothers, Ronald Thornton and Jeff Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Benson; his children, Casey Thornton (Brandy) of Harrisonville and Tiffany Ford (Doug Ford) of Harrisonville Mo; his grandchildren, Sydney, Ethan, Sage, Ava, Summer, Shaugh, Bradley, Nate and Liam; his siblings, Kenny Thornton of Belton Mo, Doug Thornton of Warrensburg and Trish Guier of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; and his brother-in-law Dennis Benson of Camdenton, Missouri.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, sisters -in-law and brothers -in- law.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Serenity Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home.
