He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Lee Arnold. He is survived by: his father William Harry Newenhouse (Bill); his significant other Cindy Caruthers Newenhouse; and his siblings, John (Yen) Newenhouse, Michelle Browning of Olyphant, PA, Wendy Karger and Joy Ulmer of Hawley, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org) and The American Legion (mylegion.org).
