He is survived by: his children, Scott Allen Rea of Garden City and Crissy Jean Gilvin (Rea) of Garden City, Missouri; his wife Carol Rea of Grandview, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Mikalah Rea of Olathe and Grady Gilvin of Garden City, Missouri; and his sister Vickie Mellott (Jerry) of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
