He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sterling E. Thrasher and Velda W. Thrasher (Axtell); his wife Patty Sue Spencer; and his children, Michele Meidling (Keith) of Ashburn, VA, Matthew Thrasher and Melanie Goddard. He was also cherished by four grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Mt. Tabor Primitive Baptist Church.
