He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Harrison and Sue Belsher (Cox); and his grandson Ashton Pettit. He is survived by : his wife Stacy Rae Clausen; his sons, Brett Pettit (Alyssa) of Plattsburg, MO, Jake Osborn (Samantha) of Lawson, MO, Mitchell Pettit (Jazmine) of Gallatin, MO and Jonas Pettit of Gallatin, MO; his sister Sherri Smith (Chance) of Gallatin, MO; and his mother-in-law LaRae Loyd of Winston, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, other extended family members and many friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gallatin First Christian Church (1501 S Main St, Gallatin, MO 64640).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital in care of the funeral home.
