It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon Lee Wortman of Gallatin, Missouri, born in Cameron, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Unkie" and Evelyn Bradley (Taylor); his wife Charlene Moody; his brother-in-law John Wood; his son James Dean Wortman; and his stepson Chad.
He is survived by: his son David Wortman (Brenda Miller) of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Mazzy of Los Angeles, Ursula of Los Angeles and Wallace Wortman of Los Angeles; and his siblings, Carla Feigly (Doug) of Lake Viking and Charles "Blackie" Wortman (Faye) of Gallatin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Active Aging Resource Center in care of the funeral home.
