He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wayne and Nina Pauline Helton (Maroney); and his sisters, Kay Kordes and Diane Gray. He is survived by: his former spouse Jan Richesson; his children, Jason Helton (Kanna) of Chillicothe, MO and Paige Zimmerman (Jason) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Hope, Ty, Cooper and Cam; and his brother John Helton (Lila) of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
