She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clair and Beulah Miller (Alder); her husband Covel Searcy; her son Steve Searcy; her siblings, Fay Denny, Ella Lea Smith, Glen and Bill Miller; her son-in-law Darrell Wilson; and her great grandchild Emma Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Oxley (Phil) of St. Joseph, Cheryl Wemhoff (Mike) of Lincoln, NE, Jennifer Downey (Larry) of Sunrise Beach, Barbara Harris (Robbie) of Kansas City, Stan Searcy (Kathy) of Pensacola, FL, Carla Wilson of Gallatin and Linda Kurzweil (Dennis) of Harrisonville; her siblings, Donald Miller of Stewartsville and Kay Utt of Lawson; and her daughter-in-law Renee Searcy of Liberty, MO. She is also survived by 3 sister-in-laws; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Active Aging Resource Center in Gallatin or to a charity of the donor's choice which may be mailed to Stith Funeral Home at 1329 West Grand, Gallatin, MO.
