It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kay Kordes of Gallatin, Missouri, born in Cainsville, Missouri, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wayne and Ina Pauline Helton (Maroney); her husband Kenny Kordes; her son Kevin Kordes; and her sister Diane Gray.
She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth Kordes; her son Keith Kordes of Camden Point, MO; her brothers, Steve Helton of Cameron, MO and John Helton of Springfield, MO; her brother-in-law Eldon Kordes of Tehachapi, CA; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Rachael, Kaleb and Emily. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Gallatin United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
