As John Paul departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John Paul. Though John Paul may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kennith Lowell Fawson and Janet Patricia Patterson Fawson; and his brother Joseph Fawson. He is survived by: his wife Monica Ruth Oldham; his children, Ammon John Fawson (Leidy), Mychaela Ruth Fawson Smith (Brock) and Caleb Luke Fawson; and his grandchild Allison Jane Fawson. He is also survived by siblings, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home - Gallatin (1329 W Grand St, Gallatin, MO 64640). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (211 Ash, Gallatin, MO 64640).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund in care of the funeral home.
