He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Lula Mae Parton (Wheeler); his grandson Kevin Sall; his stepson Eric Roach; and his daughter Leanna Culver (Bill) of Ankeny, Iowa.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Stevenson; his son Steve Parton (Wendy) of Ogden, Utah; and his stepsons, J. L. Roach (Valerie) of Kansas City, Missouri and Glen Roach of South Bend, Indiana. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and 1 step-great-great grandchild.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cope-Shambaugh Cemetery in loving memory of Jim Parton.
