He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hendrich and Margaret Pauline Elbert (Everman); and his brother Spencer Elbert. He is survived by: his wife Patty Elbert; his children, Chris Edward Elbert (Shelley), Kelly Ann Simmons (Dennis) and Tyson Michael Elbert; his grandchildren, Sydney Renae Elbert, Kailey Christine Elbert, Grant Patrick Simmons, Chloe Allison Simmons and Jett Robert Simmons; his brother Troy Elbert; and his sister-in-law Judy Elbert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter or the Gallatin RV Backpack Buddies in care of Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin.
