He was predeceased by: his parents, David Porter and Evelyn Porter (Hepner); his former wife Janice Hayden; and his siblings, Jim Porter and Karen Fay.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Diane Forsythe (Lauhon); his sons, Todd Porter (Cheryl) of Kansas City, KS, Richard Porter (Jennifer) of Toganoxie, KS and Gary Porter of Gardner, KS; and his siblings, Judy Hall, Ricky Lyttel, Judy Huff and Debby Creamer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Lake Viking Church in care of the funeral home.
