He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Olson and Theresa Rosine Olson (Hanson); his wife Edna Olson; his brothers, Rodney and Roger Olson; and his great grandchild Kacyn Wayne.
He is survived by: his children, Scott McMillan Olson (Emily) of Spokane, WA and Sharon Marie Wayne (Jim) of Gallatin, MO. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family.
