He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancel Bashford and Juanita Bashford (Rader); his stepmother Venna-Mae Bashford; his sons, Darrell Dean Bashford and Roger Wayne Bashford; his brothers, Roger Bashford and Milton Bashford; his sister-in-law Wanda Bashford; and his daughter-in-law Mary Bashford.
He is survived by: his wife Isla Jean Gurney of Plattsburg; his son Robert Bashford of Holt; his grandchildren, Tiffany Francis (David) of Kansas City and Brandon Bashford of Holt; his great grandchildren, Tyler Bodnar and Jenna Bodnar; and his nieces, Pam and Lori.
Private family services will be held due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Centenary Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
