It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Louise Hass Taylor of Gallatin, Missouri, born in Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Getz and Walter Getz; and her siblings, Christine Ewert, Walter Getz (Bud), Virginia Buck and Glenn Getz.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen Morrissey (Dennis) of Jefferson City, MO and Warren Van Gundy of Emporia, KS; her grandchildren, Jake Morrissey (Aubree) of Phoenix, AZ and Megan Segura (Beau) of Lenexa, KS; and her great grandchildren, Ariana, Davis Morrissey, Wade and Vera Segura.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Active Aging Resource Center or Green Hills Women's Shelter in care of the funeral home.
