He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Essary and Erma Essary (Jenkins); and his sisters, Evera Essary, Naomi Essary, Eva Matthews and LaFonda Rowe.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Randy Essary of Galena, Missouri, Tony Essary (Shelly) of Galena, Missouri, Michelle Essary (Danny) of Aurora, Becky Johnson (JL) of Crane and Deborah Reel (Scott) of Crane; his sisters, Reva Suttles (Joe) of Willard and Treva Larsen (Bill) of Springfield, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Jaci Johnson, Dakota Essary (Haley), Garrison Reel, Jalee Johnson, Ashlynn Reel, Owen Essary and Connor Davis. He is also survived by his kids and grandkids.
