He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dale Bainter Sr. and Elizabeth Mae Bainter (Reid); his son Paul Jason Bainter; and his brother Ronald "Buckwheat" Bainter. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Durst of Gallipolis, Ohio, Alan Bainter of Ashville and Nathan Bainter (Lacy) of Gallipolis, Ohio; and his siblings, Susan Wolford of Gallipolis, Ohio, Bill Bainter (Theresa) of Galena, Missouri and Tim Bainter of Galena, Missouri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
