He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Peyton and Frances Peyton (Akins); his brother Lloyd Peyton; his wife Carolyn Peyton; his daughters, Tammy Yahya (Fred) of Wichita, Kansas, Cindi Russell (Jim) of Wichita, Kansas, Shannon Peyton (John Rogers) of Galena, Missouri and Michele Peyton (Ryan Wortman) of Walnut Shade, Missouri; his grandchildren, Morgan Yahya, Carlee Yahya, Matthew Russell, Morgan Upp, Jesse Peyton, Madison Estell, Nicholas Rogers, Jasmine Wortman, Jordan Wortman and Hellaina Wortman; and his siblings, Kay Howell and Bob Peyton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name, to the local Vietnam Veterans Chapter 913 (PO Box 632, Branson, MO 65616).
