It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Smith of Galena, Missouri, born in Kennett, Missouri, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jude Moore and Carrie Mae Moore (Carter); her husband Earl W Smith; her children, Kerry D Smith and Carol Dodd; and her siblings, Carol Coleman, Tom Moore of Joe Moore, L. R and Gary Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Neal Smith (Regenia) of Pollard, AR, Joe Smith (Sheila) of Galena, MO, Judy Hall (Wally, Jr.) of Galena, MO and Crystal Rice (Dewayne) of Ozark, MO; her grandchildren, Kenneth, Dawn, Tessa, Sara, Colby, Kyndal, Logan, Maegan and Caleb; and her great grandchildren, Nyla and Quinlee. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
