It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Jennings (Galena, Missouri), born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 1, 2017, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Smith and Ruth Helger Smith; her son James Murphy; her stepdaughter Cindy Parker; her siblings, Howard Helger, Stanley Smith Jr, George Smith, Andrew Smith, Richard Smith, Alice Glowczenski, Ruth Corbett and Bertha Dickey; and her granddaughter Niki Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Murphy, Patty Martin of Galena and William Gaston of Springfield, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Lori Murphy; her sister Edith Carter of Florida; her grandchildren, Kelly Martin, Lacy Hardesty, James Murphy, Daniel Murphy and Logan Murphy; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Murphy, Sonya Hardesty, Devin Murphy, Austin Martin, Taylor Hill, Tobi Hill, Zoey Murphy, Silas Murphy and Jaydon Murphy; her great great grandchild MaKenzie Martin; her stepchildren, Pam Surratt and Chuck Gaston; and her stepgrandchildren, Donnie, Duane and David Martin. She is also survived by nephews, lot of other family and friends.

In 2013 Helen was diagnosed with Alzheimer's which took her life on July 1, 2017.
