He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Wimsatt (Mayfield); his parents, Charles Elmer Wimsatt and Minnie Ann Porter (Lowrance-Wimsatt); his daughter Pamela Deanne Wimsatt; his daughter-in-law Venice Marie Wimsatt; his brother James Henry Wimsatt; and his close friend Delbert Morris Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Alan Wimsatt (Carol), Kevin L. Wimsatt, Kimberly D. Baake (Rob) and Brenda S. King (Marvin). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
