Alberta Louise Tate Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Louise Tate of Galena, Missouri, born in Macon, Missouri, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Alberta Louise may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Toothaker and Bertha Toothaker; her husband Donald Tate; her stepfather Lee Lamb; and her brother Wayne Toothaker.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa (Herb Hilt) and Emily (Max Akers). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks in memory of Alberta Tate.
