He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Piland and Rose Piland (Herndon) of Wilhoit, MO; and his brother Eldo Piland of Wilhoit, MO. He is survived by: his wife Ella May Piland of Gainesville; his daughters, Tammy Smith and Jerry Joe Smith; and his brother Elven Piland of Gainesville, MO. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sims Cemetery.
