He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd McConnaughy and Berah McConnaughy Hunsucker (Driver); and his siblings, Roy McConnaughy, Billy McConnaughy, Henry Hunsucker, George Hunsucker and Donna Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa McConnaughy; his children, Jim Ray McConnaughy of Gainesville, MO, Kay Bannister (Charles) of Springfield, MO and Lynn Lininger of Ava, MO; his grandchildren, Travis McConnaughy (Aubrey) of Romance, MO, Tara Wallace (Justin) of North Carolina, Jason Lininger (Tara) of Ava, MO and Jarett Lininger (Ali) of Springfield, MO; and his siblings, Duane Hunsucker (Sue) of West Plains, MO and Lucille Williams of Houston, MO. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel (434 Main St, Gainesville, MO 65655). A masonic service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Loftis Cemetery or Robert Burns Masonic Lodge.
