She was predeceased by: her parents, Levester Gay and Bernice Gay (Anderson); her husband Bennie Benton Jr.; and her siblings, Levester Gay Jr., Najol Gay and Oneita Parker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Latasha Ellison and Michele Humphrey of Salina; her grandchildren, Nalo Bishop, Ariana Benton, Davon Benton and Aaden Ellison; her great grandchildren, Dominick Benton and Narayah Benton-Bishop; and her brother Jack Gay (Gwen) of Bakersfield, CA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Jacqualyn's honor to the Central Kansas Mental Health Center in Salina, care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
