With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Long of Gainesville, Missouri, born in Mountain Home, Arkansas, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Long and Audrey Long of Gainesville, MO.; his brother Floyd Long; and his daughter-in-law Marsha Long. He is survived by: his wife Becky Hankins; his son James Long of Pierce City; and his granddaughters, Kimberly Long of Pierce City, Judy Long of Springfield, MO, Sherrill Oels (Doug) of Mountain Home, AR, Cathy Carlisle (Roy) of Gainesville, MO and Becky Madwell (Nathan Long) of Mansfield, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
