He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Ward and Grace Ward (Sams); his wife Helen Qualls; his son Vince Ward; his siblings, Wayne Ward, Merle Ward, Norman Ward, Clara Strickler (Bob) and Irene Carter; and his brother-in-law Bill Drennan.
He is survived by: his son Lonnie Ward (Jennifer); his sister Verna Drennan; and his grandchildren, Sydney Ward, Michaela Ward, Reili Ward, Austin Ward, Whitney Ward, Shelby Ward and Coty Jarvis.
