He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel Marvin Mealy and Evahlee Mealy (Leisinger); and his brother Samuel Mealy. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sherri Gillespie; his daughter Tiffany Joy Wagley of Louisiana; his siblings, Jerry Mealy, Kent Mealy (Sarah) of Jefferson City and Vicki Cornell (John); his granddaughters, Ashton, Michaela, Miranda and Katie; and his great grandchildren, Winter, Matthew, Danny, Zander and Calopie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
