He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Andrew Whanger and Hazel Gertrude Whanger (Simmons). He is survived by: his grandson Quincy; his daughter Sarah Culp (Zachary) of Cabot; and his sisters, Brenda Shaon and Sandra Whanger.
