He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Smith and Pearl Smith (Winn); and his siblings, Eugene Smith and Earline Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smith (Ridgel); his son Danny C. Smith (Stephanie) of Fulton; his siblings, Bobbie N. Smith (Nancy) of Columbia, Jessie Vaughn and Marilyn Jatho of Fulton; and his grandchildren, Jaena Smith of Longview and Landon Smith of Lake Ozark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
