He is survived by: his spouse Pamelia Ann Smith (Smart); his children, Jay Smith (Nancy) of Olathe, Jeffrey Smith of Plano, Laurie A. Qualls (Michael) of Fulton and Kathy Luster (Dean) of O'Fallon; and his sisters, June Shurtz of Florrisant, Nancy Patterson (Bob) of Foristell and Diane Knarr of Overland.
