He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nickens Jr. and Vera Mae Nickens of Fulton, Missouri.; his brothers, Michael and Reginald Nickens; and his nieces, Kandi Nickens and Fredtonya Nickens-Rodgers.

He is survived by: his daughter Ja'mia Williams; and his siblings, Fredetta Nickens, Vesta Mae Lawson (Perry) and Flynn Nickens of Fulton, Missouri.. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
