He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Holschlag and Alba Holschlag (Gueltzau); his brother Donald Holschlag; and his sister-in-law Patricia Clifford Neary. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Holschlag (Clifford); his daughter Karen Holschlag (Glenn Beckmann) of Chesterfield; his grandchildren, Meghan and Hunter Beckmann; and his siblings-in-law, John Carroll Clifford (Esther) of Denver, James Patrick Clifford (Norma Lane) of St. Louis, Mary Christine Altendorf (Bryan) of Collierville and Margaret Ellen Thies (Lou) of St. Louis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
