He is survived by: his wife Nancy Funk of Fulton, MO; his children, Alana Funk Shockley (Joe) and Peter R. Funk (Christine); his stepdaughter Ruby Jo Walker; and his grandchildren, Cydney Funk, Sofia Hansert, Charlotte Hansert and Rose Hatten-Walker.
