She is survived by: her husband Walther "Ernie" Thornton; her sons, Craig Thornton (Nora) of Washington, Bruce Thornton (Alison) of House Springs, Paul Thornton (Shirley) of Milton, FL and Mark Thornton (Lisa) of Villa Ridge; and her sister Jeanne Ernst (Don) of Montgomery City. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
