She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Venson and Annie Venson (Lynn); her husband Howard Purcell; her son Michael Farley; and her siblings, Raymond Venson, Harold Venson, Clarence Venson, Earl Venson, Ethel Wright and Evelyn Banks.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Farley (Elizabeth) of New Bloomfield, Harold Farley (Marilyn) of Columbia and Karen Sue Farley of Fulton; and her sister Ercie Denny of Peoria. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
