Linda Fay Browning Obituary
Linda Fay Browning, 75, of Fulton passed away on March 2, 2022, at her home.
Linda was born in Mexico, Missouri on February 8, 1947, the daughter of the late Hadley Fox and the late Mary Blanche (Newsom) Fox.
On May 26, 1973, Linda was united in marriage to the late Eddie "Pete" Browning who preceded her in death on November 4, 2010.
Linda spent her life caring for others, both personally and professionally. Her hobbies included gardening with her dad and sister and reading. What Linda enjoyed most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She maintained a very close relationship with them and visited with them daily.
Those remaining to mourn her passing include her son, Michael "Dusty" Byrd; daughters, Angela Browning of Fulton; step-daughters, Shona Myers (Danny) of Hams Prairie, and Bonnie Adkins of Granville, Tennessee; brother, Roy Fox (Linda) of Fulton; sisters, Carol Jean Blackwell of Mexico, Melissa Evans (Steve) of Mexico; grandchildren, Danielle Simmons, Emily Simmons, Makayla Croghan, Marissa Rose, Tara Brewer, Gage Byrd, Megan Byrd, Erika Byrd, Josh Byrd, Tristina Byrd, Lauren Schroer, Colton Schroer, Shawn Browning, Jarod Atterberry, Jordan Atterberry, Miriah Wiggins, Shania Drummond, Hope Thatcher, Cheyenne Floyd, and Brandon Floyd; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by daughters, Lisa Byrd Simmons, and Michelle Schroer; brothers, Glenn Fox, and Johnny Fox; and newborn twin sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Melvin McCaleb officiating. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
