He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenard McNeil Sr. and Barbara J. McNeil; his sister Rose McNeil; and his grandson Antawan Ferguson. He is survived by: his children, Robyn McNeil Meeks, Geanetta Stevenson (Eric), Kevin McNeil, Rodney McNeil (Ashley), Charles McNeil (LaQuanna), Anthony Ferguson (Amber) and Lionel Ferguson (Darlene); his close friend Anna Sue McNeil; and his siblings, Michael McNeil (Margaret), Kevin McNeil (Bettie), Melodi McNeil and Patsy McNeil Hooker. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
