He was predeceased by: his parents, Joy Maddox and Katheryn Maddox (Payne); his wife Patsy Maddox (Holland); his daughter Nakiya "Nikki" Maddox-Quick; and his siblings, Tommy, Dennis Maddox, Joyce Kerbs and Patty Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Rance Maddox (Wendy Allen) and Jamie Alvstad (David); his sister Barbara Maddox; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Maddox and Sharon Kerbs; his grandchildren, Nikholas Fischer, Nakayla Fischer, Christopher Fischer, Rance Maddox Jr., Jerry Maddox and Jahnae Quick; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Fischer, Karter Fischer, Luka Fischer, Safari Smith, Ryleigh Maddox, Cash Maddox, Koty Maddox, Camden Starkey, Gage Quick, Holden Starkey and Dalton Starkey.
