He is survived by: his son Larry D. "Bo" Higgins Jr. of Kingdom City; his siblings, Kenny Higgins (Terry), Roger Higgins (Linda), Kathryn Hamilton of Fulton and Patsy Higgins of Fulton; and his grandson John Taylor "J. T.".
