He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Ballard and Elvie Ballard (Weathers); and his wife Betty Louise Ballard (Howard). He is survived by: his children, Larry Ballard (Melissa), Linda Tatlock (Mike), John Ballard Jr. (Shawnlea), Joe Ballard, Lisa Ballard and Dale Ballard (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Amanda Page, Amber Jones, Blake Ballard, Michael Jenkins, Chelsea Ballard, Jennifer Graves, Jessie Ballard, Lauren Ballard, Douglas Ballard, Shaun Ballard, Austin Ballard and Jacob Ballard. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
