He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Barnes and Mary Bell Barnes (Branch); his wife Delores Jean Barnes (Hoover); and his siblings, Ruby Elizabeth, Anna Marie Cook, William Wesley Barnes, Lela Ruth White, Robert Lee Barnes, Ralf Edward Barnes and Roll Fredrick Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Barnes (Teresa) of Butler, Debbie Maddox (Rocky) of Fulton, Sandra McGaughey of Fulton, Eddie Barnes (Madonna) of Fulton and Dennis Barnes (Ashley) of Fulton; his sisters, Thelma Gene Brown, Dorothy Ann Hazlett and Betty Loucille Malone; and his grandchildren, Angie Gresham (George), Jamie Barnes (Darren Dillon), Courtney Davis (Thadd), Nathan Powell, Dustin Powell, Austen Henderson (Sha), Alvin Maddox (Cyndi), Clinton Maddox (Holly), Tommy Barnes, Matthew Bowen (Tiffany), Todd Barnes (Amanda Lorentzen), Izak Barnes (Katelyn England), Trena Barnes, Alexis Barnes, James Barnes and KyMani Barnes.
