He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndell Hays and Pearl Hays (Blackburn); and his brothers, Merlyn Hays and Kenny Hays. He is survived by: his spouse Ronda K. Hays (Wilson); his daughters, Tonya Hays-Martin (John) and Trina Hays; his sister Norma Shaon (Roy); his sister-in-law Lois Hays of Benton City; his grandchildren, Richard Hoover, Haley Steward and Dylan Martin; and his great grandchild Averie Hoover.
