He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaily Boone and Jewel Boone (Berry); and his daughter Patty Mason. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Boone (Gordon); his children, Mike Reed, Terry Reed, Bob Peneston, Mark Peneston, Michelle Smith and Cindy Peneston; and his sister Ramona "Punkie" Bozeman.
