We bid farewell to Fred D. Bly Jr. of Fulton, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 22, 2024 at the age of 69. Fred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred D. Bly and Lottie L. Bly (Bartlett); his brother William "Bill" Bly; and his nephew B. J. Bly. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Steward; his sons, John Curtner (Nicole) of Warrensburg and Clint Stumph (Leona) of Osceola; his stepsons, Stephen Curtner of Mexico, MO and Brian Koetting of Iowa; and his sister Margie McMilian (Terry) of Independence. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (1701 W 32nd St, Sedalia, MO 65301).
