He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mitchell and Martha Ardelia Stephens (Weaver); his wife Laura Alice Wilson; his daughters, Michele Price and Penny White; and his siblings, Laura Hartman, Vernon and Mitchell Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Stephens (Carla) of Springfield, Missouri, Janine Groesbeck of Miller and Tammy Parnell (Joey) of Miller; his son-in-law Steve White of Columbia, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Karen Stephens of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
