He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Fickess and Edith Fickess (Slaton); his grandson Cody Horine; and his stepson Aaron Page. He is survived by: his wife Gemma Fickess (DeGroot) of Fulton; his children, Jay Fickess of Kansas City and Shannon Dennis of Columbia; his brother Ralph Fickess of Kendrick, OK; and his grandchildren, Adam Horine, Rylee Page and Kaden Page.
