She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Perkins and Anna Perkins (Rennison); her husband Calvin Christy Schmid; and her siblings, Charles, Robert Perkins, Fawnette Hering, Anna Adams and Beatrice Perkins.
She is survived by: her son Stan Schmid of San Antonio, Texas.; and her caregivers, Jeanne Berard, Georgia Musterman, Jody Hudson and Marsha Clingman.
