He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Weir and Gladys Weir (Morgan); and his son Matthew Weir. He is survived by: his spouse Frances C. Knox; his children, Melinda DeWees (Josh), Astoria Ill, Rebecca Diekamp (Michael), Christopher Weir (Morgan), East Peoria and Nathaniel Weir; and his grandchildren, Mikayla DeWees, Elena DeWees, Kaleb, Jadon, Ansel, Garin Diekamp and Corran Weir.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to First Christian Church, 6 East 7th Street, Fulton, MO 65251, to be used for Kingdom's Kids.
